Francesca Bagala has been active on the Italian painting scene for many years. She first came to prominence with her paintings in a number of collective exhibitions where she won awards in various national and international competitions. Focusing on portraits, landscapes and still life, her spontaneous and immediate way of painting succeeds in expressing a significant figurative originality. As a genuine and sensitive artist, she knows the ins and outs of drawings, thanks to both natural talent and skills and experiences acquired over years of art studies. Her paintings stand out for their interpretation of the beauty and the mystery of nature in its essence, while her sensitivity leads her to choose rich and varied colours and tones, which are blended with balance and harmony. Since 2000 she moved into Australia, where she currently resides.
